Our design process was driven by a clear ambition: elevate safety and innovation beyond existing standards. Rather than simply complying with the latest EU regulations (2022), we set out to exceed them—by design. As urban mobility continues to evolve—with faster e-bikes and increasingly complex traffic environments—the challenge was twofold: create child seats that integrate seamlessly with the clean, contemporary aesthetics of modern bikes, while delivering best-in-class protection.

The result is ICON: a forward-looking design that anticipates the needs of tomorrow’s riders. Every decision was grounded in real user insights, ensuring that ergonomics, comfort, and ease of use are not add-ons, but core principles embedded throughout the product.

Designed for Modern Families

The Prodigee ICON Seats are created for families who value style, comfort, and uncompromising safety. Inspired by the protective embrace of a parent, the structural frame wraps seamlessly around the backrest, seat, and head support—delivering a level of protection that sets a new benchmark in the category. This thoughtful design prioritizes head protection, outperforming conventional solutions, while shock-absorbing padding ensures comfort, even on longer rides. The rear seat evolves with your child, supporting up to 22 kg, and features an adjustable headrest, safety harness, and footrests. The more compact front seat offers robust protection for children up to 16 kg, optimized for simplicity and security.

Design

ICON stands out through a futuristic, minimal design language that aligns with the aesthetics of today’s premium (e-)bikes. Every design decision responds to a critical need for enhanced safety—particularly improved head protection and optimized helmet clearance. Unlike traditional child seats, the ICON range truly embraces the child, integrating protection into the overall form rather than layering it on. The fully recyclable frames are made from 100% polypropylene, while carefully placed shock-absorbing padding enhances comfort. Material choices were driven by both safety and usability, resulting in a product that performs intuitively in everyday use.

Function

The rear seat is designed to grow with the child, featuring:

• An adjustable headrest
• A 5-point safety harness
• Adjustable footrests

Ergonomic support and EVA shock-absorbing padding improve both comfort and safety where it matters most. Ease of use was equally prioritized. Installation is straightforward thanks to an open harness system, while an integrated lock adds an extra layer of security—making the product as practical as it is refined.

ICON differentiates itself through its robust construction and strong focus on protection—particularly in the headrest design of the rear seat. Designed with modern, premium e-bikes in mind, the seats are optimized for comfort during longer rides, making them a reliable everyday mobility solution. Its adaptability to a child’s growth introduces a level of ergonomic refinement rarely seen in this category.
