IAA Mobility 2023 Highlights: MODYN Trend Report
The International Automobile Exhibition (IAA), held every two years, now covers all types of transportation, from small scooters to self-driving buses, not just cars.
This year’s event had 750 exhibitors from 38 countries and introduced over 300 new products, attracting 500,000 visitors. A special feature was that it wasn’t just in the usual exhibition area but also in Munich’s old city center. Big car brands set up large, impressive stands that matched the city’s old buildings. The city center was open to everyone, bringing together a mix of people, from young fans to experts and older visitors. This lively, welcoming atmosphere made people think about the need for traditional exhibition halls.
The outdoor stands showed off the car brands and their new products well. Mercedes had a special red area for their new CLA car, Porsche had a big stand with a giant 911 car model, and the MINI stand really showed off the MINI style.
